Neuschwanstein Castle
At the very top of the mountain where the air is thin Sits Neuschwanstein Castle where it's always been Nestled midst tree tops now wearing autumn clothes Red, gold, and orange garb as everyone knows
The castle perched high atop this rocky peak Is beautiful beyond words. No words can I speak I scarcely can breathe. I make not a sound It's majestic beauty nowhere else can be found
More than one tower reach for the clear azure sky Each of the seven different, some low some high With a backdrop of purple mountains that rise To the heaven and the picture fills my eyes
Dare I walk this majestic castle's halls With paintings of ancestors on the walls? Carpet of rich crimson receiving my weight Afraid my presence will forever desecrate
Royale purple velvet cover sofa and chair Beautiful walnut and marble tables everywhere Heavy chandeliers of crystal hanging high Golden brocade hung on the windows catch my eye
So much beauty in one place takes my breath away I'll never forget this castle 'til my dying day At the foot of the mountain looking up at the view I say with reverence "adieu, adieu".
