Christmas Eve Snow's comin' down Winds blowin' up a storm And I am in my old, holey, flannel night gown Sittin' by my fire warm
Ice patterns on the window Made by ol' Jack Frost Jars of jam preserved last night sittin' in a row Hot cross buns in a basket tossed
House smells spicy sweet Must be the punkin pie Wine is chillin' from grapes I crushed with my feet Christmas Eve is nigh
Tall pine stands in the corner west Pa retrieved it from the shed She's decked with trinkets and lights and lookin' her best On top sits an angel named Fred
Bows and ribbons of different hues Presents under the tree piled high Each with it's name tag and wrapped in the latest news Christmas Eve is nigh
Snow's still comin' down But it's time for Christmas cheer Pa fills glasses from a bottle he got in town Cause Christmas Eve is here
Dog and cat come join us As we have our Christmas Eve feast Dog and cat share a plate and eat without a fuss And watch for the star of the East
Star of the East is spotted Through the window Jack Frost designed All agree it's a beautiful eight pointed star How brightly it has shined
Now Christmas Eve is over A wonderful time had by all Especially by our cat, Meow and dog, Rover Holidays sure can enthrall.
