Ship Of The Desert Rolling back and forth behind this hump On this four legged tan fur hide Everytime she sways my stomach does jump This is not an easy, fun ride
Oh, I'm sailing on this sea of sand Not knowing where I'm going On the back of a camel in a hot, dry land There's no oars to do the rowing
This Bedouin garment is itching my skin Or I've gotten fleas from this dromedary Oh, I wish I had a big bottle of gin And a place that's cool and airy
I see up ahead is a large cactus With needles sticking out everywhere I know I need a little more practice And teaching, riding this desert Mare
Behold! I see land and it's green I am saved. I am filled with glee There is water that's clear and clean If this is an oasis how sad I will be.
