The Eskimo (May 14, 1976)
Far away in the land of ice and snow Where the deer and the timber wolf roam There's a man that's part Swede and part Eskimo This cold, bitter land he calls home
His hair is brown like the bark of a tree His skin as fair as the snow His eyes are cold blue as the tumultuous sea His back as strong as the bow
All winter he fishes the cold frozen sea He's a fisherman by trade, you know His Eskimo nature is wild and free And he thrives in the ice and the snow
One day he came down from his mountain of ice And we met in the heat of the day Together we stayed and oh, it was nice But now he has gone away
I miss my Eskimo man Who made my heart glow I'll find him if I can In the land of ice and snow.
