The Maid Sun filters in through the grease and grime She must wash the windows. I tell her all the time But does she listen? The answer is a NO Pretty soon I'm going to have to let her go
The floor needs carpet sweeping But she is upstairs sleeping Dust covers surfaces everywhere She sleeps on without a care
Dirty clothes stuffed in the hamper She better get washin', she better scamper There's dirty dishes in the sink They've been there so long I think they stink
When did I hire this lazy maid I'd like to know? Was it in the summer or was there snow? I think far back in my memory Oh, my gosh, this lazy maid is me!
